Richland County Planning & Zoning Commission

The Planning and Zoning Commission shall have such powers as may be appropriate to enable it to fulfill its functions and duties to promote county planning and to carry out the purposes of Title 76, Chapter 2, Part 1, MCA.

Meetings and Hearings:

The Planning & Zoning Commission meetings are open to the public. The meetings are scheduled on an as needed basis. The meeting agenda is available 72 hours prior to the scheduled meeting. The minutes posted on the County's websites  Agenda Center, after Zoning Commission approval. Public hearing legal notices are published in the local newspaper of general circulation, Sidney Herald. If you wish to obtain a paper copy please contact the County Planner Office, there is a fee for requested paper copy(s)

The Richland County Planning and Zoning Commission will on Tuesday, 9th day of October, 2018 at 3:30 o’clock p.m., in the Conference Room 201 at the Richland County Community Services Building at 1201 West Holly Street, Sidney, Montana, hold a public hearing to accept input on whether Richland County should adopt the proposed McGlynn Reservoir Citizen Initiated Zoning District Development Pattern and Zoning Regulations and Fees. A full copy of the hearing notice has been submitted to the local newspaper of general circulation (Sidney Herald) was to be published on September 23rd and October 7th, 2018. The PZC is in the process of reviewing the draft regulations and a public hearing will be scheduled in the near future to allow the public the opportunity to review and provide comments. Once the PCZ completes their review of the draft regulations a hearing will be scheduled; please check back for additional information and updates or you may contact the Richland County Planner Office.
