Montana Cancer Control Program
The Montana Cancer Control and Screening program provides ongoing quality screening services and education to Montana women that are accessible, cost effective and sensitive to the client’s needs.
Services are provided to women who are uninsured or underinsured that are within the Montana Cancer Control income guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Lives in Region 13- Dawson, Fallon, McCone, Prairie, Richland, Wibaux
- Income guidelines: 250% of Federal Poverty Level (call to ask about this)
- May have insurance with a deductible that is higher than $200 and meet the income and guidelines, MCCP can help!
- Age 50-64 years old can receive a free breast screening.
- Age 21-29 years old can receive a free pap test
- Age 30-64 years old can receive a free pap test and HPV test
- Exceptions to the age criteria are based on personal and family history
- Mammograms, clinical breast exams and pap tests for early detection of breast and cervical cancers.
- Free patient navigation services.
- Diagnostic testing is also provided for the follow up of abnormal screening tests.
