Montana Cancer Control Program

The Montana Cancer Control Program (MCCP) helps low-income, uninsured and under-insured women gain access to timely breast and cervical cancer screening, diagnostic, and treatment services. MCCP also provides patient navigation services to help women overcome barriers and get timely access to quality care.

Screening services include yearly mammograms, Clinical Breast Exams and routine pap and HPV tests. Diagnostic testing is provided for the follow-up of abnormal screening tests. Individuals who are screened by MCCP and are diagnosed with breast and/or cervical cancer may be eligible for Medicaid under the Montana Breast and Cervical Cancer Treatment Program.

MCCP provides free Fecal Immunochemical Tests (FIT) as an option for colorectal cancer screening in men and women at average risk for developing colorectal cancer. FIT kits are available during events in October and March of each year.
